COVID-19

Aviassist is committed to ensuring the safety of our guests and staff and has a management plan in relation to COVID-19. Aviassist is a national company and management of the COVID-19 risk varies from state to state. Updated 28/08/2020

Additional Protective Measures

Aviassist takes your safety seriously, from our training locations through to flight operations. Aviassist has implemented additional protective measures to protect staff and guests from the risk of COVID-19. The level of protective measures varies based on the risk profile between states and include:

  • Postponing courses in high risk locations
  • Reducing class sizes where appropriate
  • Sanitising equipment between use
  • Hand sanitiser provided to staff and guests
  • Face masks provided where appropriate
  • Physical distancing including indoor density
  • Excluding high risk attendees

As part of our management plan Aviassist has implemented measures to exclude high risk attendees. Please do not attend training if:

  • You are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19
  • If you have been at a known transmission site within the last 14 days and have not been cleared.
  • If you have conducted a COVID-19 test and are awaiting results.
  • If you have been at a large event in a state with community transmission within the last 14 days, where social distancing was not possible.

Please identify yourself if you live or have been in a government recognised hotspot in the last 14 days. The risk profile will be assessed prior to attendance. It is worth considering if you need to attend a pub/club/restaurant within a hotspot within the 14 days leading up to training.
